EPRR Plans

From September 2015 it will become compulsory for every GP Practice to have an EPRR plan. EPRR stands for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response. The NHS needs to plan for, and respond to, a wide range of incidents and emergencies that could affect health or patient care. These could be anything from extreme weather conditions, to an outbreak of an infectious disease or a major transport accident. Though the majority of the plan will be identical for all Practices, some parts will be relevant to a locality only. SW Healthcare has agreed to work with your locality leads to put this plan together for each surgery. We are hoping to commence work on this project in the very near future.
