Green light for Emergency Planning

We are moving at pace with finalising the plans for the Emergency Planning Resilience and Response project. You will recall that practices faced hugely complex and time consuming demands regarding continuity and risk. We are developing the a new toolkit called the IQ Continuity Manager and are checking it is watertight.

We recently met with the Health and Care Trust who were just as excited about the development of the product and are keen to support practices through the process.

The IQ Continuity Manager covers 22 out of 32 of the core standards. The remaining standards are regarding Practice Specific and locality elements. The product is currently being tested in the office using a dummy practice and we will be contacting locality leads shortly to have a demonstration of the product. We are still looking for a representative for the Worcester City Locality, if you would like to be involved, please call the office.
